Bourcet Engineering has a wide variety of experience with residential homes, including timber frame, rigid moment frames in window walls, concrete foundations. We have successfully completed numerous projects in high snow load areas such as Revelstoke and Silver Star, BC.

Agricultural +
Over the past 26 years Bourcet Engineering has completed numerous agricultural projects throughout the Okanagan Valley with the majority of the buildings being wood frame, concrete and steel frame structures. Some examples include dairy barns, chicken barns, as well as bulk vegetable/fruit storage facilities.

Bourcet Engineering has completed new buildings as well as renovations to institutional facilities such as colleges and public schools.

Bridges +
Bourcet Engineering has provided structural services for single span logging bridges and pedestrian bridges. We also have experience verifying old Canadian Pacific Railway train bridges for other services as well as re-building and/or re-surfacing highway bridges.

Apartment +
Bourcet Engineering has substantial experience designing buildings using part 3 of the BC Building Code. This includes structures such as duplexes, townhouses, condos and multi story apartment complexes; many with underground parkades and suspended slabs.

Bourcet Engineering has a variety of experience with civic projects including churches, movie theaters, grandstands, arenas and other recreational facilities.

Commercial +
We have experience with the Workers Compensation Board (WCB) standards with respect to guardrails, handrails, and fall arrest systems. Bourcet Engineering has a strong background in steel detailing and shop drawings. Bourcet Engineering has also designed other safety systems such as pedestrian walkways, mezzanines and roll over protective structures (ROPS).

Bourcet Engineering has experience designing large tank frames, concrete water tanks and concrete pits.
